Lee Bernard Hutchins

Scarborough-Lee B. Hutchins age 91 of Leesburg, Florida and a summer place in Scarborough, Maine, died Friday October 2, 2015 at the Gosnell Hospice House after a long illness. By his side was his wife Flo and Daughter Nancy Laxson.

He was born in Hiram, Maine on August 19, 1924 the son of Lee and Maude Sanborn Hutchins. Lee proudly served in the US Army for three years during World War II. Lee, prior to his retirement, was self-employed with his wife Flo as owners of Flo Hutchins Limousine Service. He enjoyed playing golf with his son Steven Arsenault, his brother Joe Hutchins, and many good friends. He also loved playing cards with special friends. Lee mostly enjoyed travelling with his wife Flo an d going out to dinner.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Flo Hutchins, his wonderful children John P. Arsenault, Steven Arsenault, Nancy Laxson, Lee Hutchins Jr., Roger Hutchins, and Michael “AJ” Hutchins. His beautiful grandchildren Nicholas, Dominic, and Katie Arsenault as well as Ashtin Laxson. Also including many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother Joes Hutchins, other brothers and sisters, a daughter Judy Leighton, two beautiful grandsons Shawn Hutchins and Treyjon Arsenault, and a close cousin Father Larry LaPlante.

Friends and family are invited to attend a time of visitation on Wednesday October 7, 2015 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM in the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 9, 2015 at 10:00AM in the St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church 150 Black Point Road in Scarborough, Maine.
