Lillian Elizabeth Allen

Lillian was born in Virginia where she spent her childhood until the age of nine. Her family moved to Lubec, Maine after her father retired from the US Navy. She attended local schools in Lubec, and met the love of her life, Maurice Allen in 1978.

Maurice and Lillian were married in 1980. They brought three beautiful sons into their life: Matthew Maurice, Timothy Francis, and Maurice Arthur.

Lillian is predeceased by her mother Hanna Robbins, her aunt Helen Raine, and her son Timothy Allen.

Lillian was a caring person who gave full attention to her family as well as her extended family.

She spent time making sandwiches and small snacks for the homeless and less fortunate. She delivered these food items, distributing them and praying with the recipients.

Lillian attended East Point Church in South Portland, and was baptized there. Her love of Jesus shined through her whenever she spoke of Heaven.

Lillian leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Maurice Allen, her sons Matthew and Maurice, a daughter-in-law Aryn, four granddaughters: Emma, Eliza, Riley and Lilijana, her father Jim Robbins, two brothers Jimmy and Howard, sister Ledi, and many relatives and friends. She will be missed but has now become one of God’s angels.

Friends and family are invited to her graveside service on Monday October 5, 2026 at 11 AM in Evergreen Cemetery in Portland.
