Margaret Ella Russell

Margaret was a beloved mother, grandmother, partner, sister, and aunt. Loving and caring, she was always looking out for her family and making sure they were taken care of. She enjoyed a good book, an afternoon of antiquing, and a margarita. She worked as a legal secretary for more than three decades before retiring. She held a special place in the hearts of her family, and the memories they shared with her will remain a source of comfort, laughter, and love in the years ahead.

Margaret is survived by her partner, William Plante; her sister, Anne Guzman; her brother, Eugene Coffin; her son, Glaude Brewer, and his wife, Sros; her daughter, Tamara Shrestha; her stepdaughters, Christina Giesbrecht, Teresa Parker, and Lauralisa Swanson; her grandchildren, Rangsin Ros, Sreymum Ros, Dezirae Brewer, Ethan Shrestha, Hallie Matute, and Ian Shrestha; and her great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Carmen and Harold Coffin; and her beloved dog, Lizzie.

Margaret will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by those who knew her best.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday October 7th from 9:00am to 11:00am immediately followed by the funeral from 11 a.m. to noon at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Portland.
