Michael J. Quarry

Michael served in the Merchant Marines. He was an active member of the American Legion Herald T. Andrews Post 17, Elks Lodge and the Eagles Club. His fraternal brothers in the Eagles club nicknamed him “Iron Mike”, one can even enjoy an “Iron Mike” sandwich at the club.

Michael was predeceased by his loving wife, Adrienne Quarry.

He is survived by his brother-in-law, Paul Fournier; sister-in-law, Pauline Blanchard and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs, PO Box 7830, Portland, ME 04112

A funeral service will be Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

There will be a celebration of life following the interment at the Portland Eagles Club on St. John all are welcome.
