Patrick James "PJ" McGinnis

Scarborough-Patrick James "PJ" McGinnis, 67, of Portland Maine died on September 21, 2010 after a courageous year and a half battle with pancreatic cancer at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.

He was born on February 3, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late George Earl and Alpha McKellar McGinnis. He attended Riverside High School in Milwaukee Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison Wisconsin in 1965.After a long career in sales, he retired from Grote Industries of Madison Indiana in 2008.

He was a former resident of Acton Massachusetts and a long time summer resident of China Maine.

He is survived by his wife Sheryl of 40 years, his daughter, Aimee Clode and her husband Bryan, of Bailey Colorado, his son Jason McGinnis and his wife Sarah, of Government Camp Oregon, two grandchildren Riley and Maddox Clode, and his sister Kitty of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan,

A celebration of his life will be held in the spring of 2011. Arrangements are under the care of Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford Street Portland, Maine.
