Pauline M. Clark

Sandford –Pauline Mary (McCallister) Clark, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Pauline was born in Portland on November 24, 1930, the daughter of Gladys (Wyman) and Walter McCallister.

‘Nana’ was loved by all and will be missed by many. She loved spending time with her family during gatherings and holiday parties and was always seen with a smile on her face. It wasn’t the finer things in life that she enjoyed; it was keeping things simple. Nana never said a bad word about anyone. Her passions included reading, crossword puzzles, and cherishing her time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nana is survived by her daughter Sandy and husband Dave Guertin; her grandchildren, Joshua Newell and wife Christine, Daniel Newell, Rebecca Fowler Behrmann and husband Jonathan, and Jeniffer Fowler; her great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Newell, and Gabe, Kasi and Lilly Behrmann; her great-great-grandchildren Carissa and Madison Newell; her brother Walter McCallister and wife Betty; and her sister Barbara McCallister. In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her son, James Newell.

In honoring Pauline’s wishes, a graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 1pm at Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress St., Portland, Maine 04103.
