

R. Frank Weston age 90 of Portland passed away Saturday November 16, 2013 with his family by his side at the Gosnell Hospice House. Frank was born in Dracut, MA on May 30, 1923 the son of Alfred and Cleda Gilman Weston who raised him in Gardiner, Maine. After Graduating from Gardiner High School, Frank then joined the US Army Aircorp. He became an Air Force Captain and served as a fighter pilot during World War II and the Korean War. Later he served as a flight instructor and test Pilot.
After his service to our country, Frank was in the Kitchen Design Business and later became a Real Estate Broker with Mark Stimson Associates. Upon retiring, he became a Shaw’s Associate at Northgate and Mill Creek Locations where he worked until he was 85 years old.
Frank was predeceased by his wife Patricia W. Weston and a son Daniel R. Weston.
He is survived by his children Valerie W. Sullivan and her husband Joseph of Steep Falls, Maine, Pamela W. Jordan and husband Tim of Suffield, Connecticut, Jeffrey S. Weston of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Judy W. Littlefield and her husband Freeman of Litchfield, Maine, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend a time of visitation from 4 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday November 19, 2013 in the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, Maine. A memorial service will be held at 6P.M. following the visitation. Interment will be at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery in Falmouth, Maine.
