Ralph R. Bellino, 73, formerly of Scarborough, died Friday. He had lived at So. Portland Nursing Home following many years of declining health. He was born in Portland October 11, 1939, a son of Anthony and Philomena Napolitano Bellino. He attending local schools. Ralph had worked as a technician at National Semiconductor, retiring due to declining health. Ralph was an avid racing car enthusiast. In his younger years he drag raced at Sanford and Norridgewock, winning many trophies. His hands were always working on cars, whether it be drag cars or just tinkering. He was a member of the Coachman Club. He married his wife, Carol (Arey) Bellino on July 13, 1963. Ralph is survived by a son, Jeffery R. Bellino and his fiance, Lori Smith of Scarborough, a daughter, Stephanie A. (Bellino) Jordan and her husband Ryan M. Jordan of Portland, four grandchildren, Dimaggio M. Bellino, Bailey Jordan, Quinn Jordan and Arianna Smith, 3 sisters, Ann M. Bellino and her fiance, Anthony Vecchione of Portland, Carmela M. "Candy" Iaconeta and her husband Joseph of Westbrook, Ginn M. Bellino and her husband David Feeney of Scarborough, 1 brother, Anthony J. Bellino and his wife Jane of Portland and many neices and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland Wednesday 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am from St. Maximillian Catholic Church, 150 Blackpoint Rd., Scarborough. Spring burial will be in Blackpoint Cemetery.
Ralph will be missed most of all for his love of family.
