Robert W. MacEwen

Scarborough, ME – Robert W. MacEwen, 77, of Falmouth died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. He was the husband of the late Linda MacEwen who died August 26, 2009.

He was born in Manchester, NH on February 10, 1933 a son of the late Lyford and Marion (Wilcomb) MacEwen.

Bob was a veteran of the US Army and enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and friends in both Maine, New Hampshire and Florida.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a dedicated father, and a loving grandfather who most enjoyed the time he spent with those closest to him.

He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Brannigan and her husband Shawn of Buxton and his son David MacEwen and his wife Tonya of Townsend, MA. He also leaves his five grandchildren; Shane, Blake, Riley, Hunter and Cole.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland.
