Sending our thoughts and prayers to Roger's family on this 2nd anniversary.    Time goes by so quickly but our loved ones will be in our hearts and minds every single  day for the rest of our lives.

He was a wonderful man.

After we graduated from the 72nd Session we all went our separate ways.  It has been such a great thing for me to have our junta, sit around and tell old tales and get reacquainted after all these years.

Roger was one of the most kind, considerate men I've known.  He was truly a pleasure to be around. He had a great, but quiet, sense of humor.  

My wife, Judy, always loved to see him when we got together.  She  said he was a real true gentleman.   He loved our little dog, Petey.  We would send a picture of Petey in our Christmas card to Roger and he  would include an almond in his Christmas card to give to Petey. 

He will be greatly missed. 



Also Chicago born, met Roger 1950 at Beloit College.  SAE Fraternity brothers, along with (Chicago) Ted Anderson (deceased)
as tackle, me guard, had the honor of opening holes for Roger's runs!  Roger was a faithful daily Morning Mass goer at Beloit.  Ted and I shared Roger's love of country as Special Agents in our respective military services.  We managed to stay in contact over the years to happily relive our earlier memories.  A true gentleman
in every sense of the word.  An honor to have known you, Roger.  May you rest in peace.  God Bless you and your Family.

I first met Roger when my son, Mando, was in First grade with Phillip at St. Pius X school in San Antonio.  That was a long time ago and I hadn't seen Roger in a while because he moved from San Antonio to Maine, but I have very fond memories of him.  I still remember when we coached our sons together in baseball. We both had played baseball in our younger days and so we had a blast with our sons.  Our friendship was instantaneous!  The thing that impressed me the most about Roger was his kindness and unassuming manner.  He was a man of character and moral values.  He was a great example for me as a father to my children.  He truly loved his children and would do anything for them.  He will definitely be missed.  May his soul have eternal rest and in God's arms.

I met Roger when my daughter married his son. I am honored to have known him. He and I shared many lunches together with his(and my) sweet granddaughter Pippa after her music class held where he lived. They gave each other much joy and fun experiences.  I am so glad they had times together. Roger was a great man, an amazing dad to Philip and Erika, a great father-in-law to my daughter Jane and an adoring grandfather to Pippa. He will be missed by all.
