Roger was born on May 12, 1938 in Portland, ME; the son of the late Alfred and Gladys (Shaw) Putnam.
For many years Roger worked for Burnham & Morrill of Portland until his retirement. Roger was a member of the Eagles and an avid art lover. Roger also enjoyed painting with oils and had a fondness for antique cars.
Surviving Roger is a sister Carolyn Wescott of Harpswell, ME, a niece and nephew of Harpswell and several grand nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held for Roger.
Care for Roger has been entrusted to the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home of Portland.
