

Stanley Webster Watson, age 89 of Saco formerly of Yarmouth passed away Saturday January 27, 2018 at The Landing at Saco Bay.
He was born in Rumford July 30, 1928 the son of Clyde W. & Mary E. Mcllroy where he attended school, and then he moved to Portland where he graduated from Deering High School class of 1946. He also was a graduate from Northeast Business School with the degree in Accounting.
Stan was employed at the former Maine Central Railroad as an accountant for several years until his retirement.
Stan served in the National Guard, was a Mason, Trumpet Player in Chandler’s Band, a former member of the Portland Kiwanis Club, and Casco Bay Power Squadron and was a Sea Captain.
He is predeceased by his brother John E. Watson, Jr., in 2014.
Besides his beloved wife Toni (Sampson) Watson of Saco, he leaves several nieces & nephews.
At Stan’s request there will be no service. When you look over the horizon remember Stan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to The Activities Department, C/O The Landing @ Saco Bay, 392 Main Street, Saco, ME. 04072.
