Portland- Suzanne M. Caron, 82, died peacefully on August 16, 2015 at the Barron Center. The daughter of William and Mildred Caron, she was born in Portland on June 8, 1933. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Portland, the Salvation Army, the Red Hatters, the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic, and the Union Veterans of the Civil War. She is survived by her sisters, Evelyn Sylvestre and her husband Raymond of Saco, and Louise Yerxa and her husband Harold of Hernando FL., and her brother, Richard Caron and his wife Dorothy of Windham. Suzanne’s sense of humor will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside committal service on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress St. Portland. Arrangements are under the direction of Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland.
