Tho is survived by his father, Sa Nguyen, mother, Sung Nguyen, daughter, Trinh Nguyen and her husband Benjamin Millick, son, Huy Nguyen, life partner, Van Nguyen, sister, Trang Nguyen and his grandchild, Khai Millick.
Tho was a very thoughtful man who cared about his impact on the world around him. In the past he was an avid fisherman, but in the last ten years, he moved away from fishing and embraced gardening where he planted fruits and vegetables. This change reflected his compassion and desire to be more caring for all living beings. When his daughter told him that animals were eating all her vegetables, he said to plant more so you have enough to share.
Tho was a kindhearted person who puts everyone before himself. He always found a way to help people in need weather it was family, friend or strangers on the street. Tho would say everyone need help at one point or another and if you can, you should.
He is a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother and partner. His family was his world. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am- 12:00 pm and visiting hours will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on January 24th, 2026 at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home in Portland, Maine.
