1950 – 2018
PORTLAND – Timothy Patrick Tully, 68, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. He was born in Syracuse, New York on July 15, 1950, the son of Trevor and Eleanor (Mainon) Tully.
Tim was a 1968 graduate of Syracuse High School. He enlisted in the USMC right after high school, where he served for 11 ½ years and did three tours during the Vietnam War, leaving with an honorable discharge. He went for Drill Instructor Schooling through the USMC and later became a drill instructor. Tim also became a police officer in Sandwich, Massachusetts, and worked for three summers part time from 1975 to 1977. He also drove trucks for Roadway Trucking until his retirement. On January 1, 1993, Tim married the love of his life, LeeAnne (Burnham) and together they shared a loving marriage of over 25 years. Tim was very active in the 1st Congress of New England Muzzle Loaders, and served as their treasurer. He was also a member of the Buxton and Hollis Gun Club, and was on the board of directors. Tim was a Distinguished Life Member of the NRA, and was also a member at the Saco Grange and the Mt. Etna Grange from 2004 to 2018.
Tim is survived by his wife, LeeAnne (Burnham) Tully; his three step-children, Sabrina Harwood and her spouse Michael, Crystal Fulcher and Andrew Woodbury and his spouse Kate; his son of a previous marriage Thomas Tully; his three sisters, Susan (Tully) Williams, Evie (Tully) Avery and Ellen (Tully) Fitzgerald; his brother, Terry Tully; his five grandsons, Preston Paxon Woodbury, Collin Harwood, Dempsey and Beckett Fulcher, and many nieces nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents.

Friends and family are invited to a night of visitation on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11am at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home. A committal will be held on October 18, 2018 at 12pm at Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta, Maine 04033.
