Winnie was born on December 22, 1923 in Portland Maine to Major A. Wing and Velma Pearl (Borden). She attended Portland schools and eventually met and married the love of her life, Walter Mason Drown SR. Winnie was a hard worker who spent 23 years working in food service for the Falmouth School Dept.
Winnie was a fiercely independent and deeply religious woman who held family values to be paramount. She was an active member of the Falmouth Congregational Church. She loved camping, spending time with family and friends and was a fantastic cook. Many of her sacred recipes will be deeply missed.

Drown. Winnie was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, Walter; her son Walter Mason Drown JR; her daughter Barbara Gray and her son-in-law Lynn Gray.
