Abe attended Pilgrim Lutheran School, Sexton Mountain Elementary School, and Highland Park Middle School, and graduated from Mountainside High School in 2023.
Abe loved the outdoors and could often be found taking long walks, embracing whatever adventure the day might bring. He was kind-hearted and gentle, yet also lively and full of energy—someone who made his presence known and brought laughter wherever he went.
Many in Beaverton may remember Abe cruising through town in his bright red 1957 Ford Fairlane, the convertible top down and a grin stretching from ear to ear. You may have encountered him while he delivered your pizza, or seen him stocking shelves at Safeway. Most recently, Abe had just completed his first week at Intel, where he began working as a manufacturing technician, when his life was tragically cut short.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers and his uncle, Joe Teeny. He is survived by his parents, Mazen Gedeon and Summer Teeny; his stepfather, Anthony Williams; his grandmother Mary Teeny; his brother, Daniel Gedeon; his stepsister, Talina Ibabao; and his godfather, Joseph Muzik. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom loved him dearly.
Abe’s family and friends are heartbroken by the loss of such a cherished son, brother, friend, and family member. His family, grounded in their Christian faith, take comfort in the belief that Abe is with Jesus and that they will one day be reunited with him.
A viewing and the Trisagion Prayers of Mercy will be held on Thursday, June 18, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Finley-Sunset Hills Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Beaverton, Oregon, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Hills Memorial Park. The mortuary will accept floral deliveries through Thursday.
