Ade was born March 24, 1926 in Portland,OR to parents Ade Sr. and Ethel Anderson. He spent most of his life in the Portland area, graduating from Benson High School. Ade spent time in the U.S Army and Navy and most of his working years worked with Multnomah County keeping their vehicles on the road. He married Patricia E. Corey, who preceeded him in death.
