He was born in Dersca, Romania on February 1, 1938. Alexandru Leontescu graduated from High School in Iasi and received a High School Diploma.
He was married to Rodica Leontescu on November 1, 1965. During his life, Alexandru worked as a Foreman in Roofing and Construction.
He had a passion for spending time with his Grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Rodica; his sons, Constantin (Rebecca), and Mitica (Daniela); and Grandchildren, Samuel, Matei, Nadia, Iosea, Luca, Esra, Avi, Eliav; Great-grandson, Timotei; and siblings, Truta, Ileana, Flareta and Gica.
Alexandru was well-loved and will be sorely missed.
