Born on October 5, 1946, in Little Rock, AR, Anne was the daughter of Edwin and Jane Mendel. She grew up in Little Rock and later pursued her education at Metropolitan State University of Denver and Fresno State, where she earned a Master’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Jewish Studies from Hebrew Union College.
Throughout her life, Anne was highly creative, directing special events, creating sacred space in the home, writing Etiquette for an Apocalypse, jewelry making, and mixed media collages in the last few years.
Anne is survived by her husband, Mark Henry; her sons, Noah McCormack and Tom McCormack; her stepson, Brett Henry (Denise); and her stepdaughter, Brooke Henry, and grandchildren Hayden, Isaac, and Elliott. Anne is also survived by her former husband, Win McCormack (Carol), the father of Noah and Tom.
