

Anthony A. Beaudoin, beloved businessman, real estate investor, and passionate outdoorsman, passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Born on February 7, 1943, in Lawrence, MA, Anthony was the son of Leo and Carmella Beaudoin. His legacy of kindness, positivity, and dedication to those closest to him will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Anthony's journey began at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, where he earned a degree in Nuclear Engineering. Soon after graduation, he joined Boeing, where he started a career that would help shape his future. His passion for business and innovation led him to real estate investing, and his entrepreneurial spirit was evident throughout his life.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Anthony was an avid lover of luxury cars and animals, particularly dogs. His passion for cars extended beyond simply enjoying them—he frequently attended and showcased his cars at car shows. He also had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoying skiing at Mt. Hood, rafting, and a variety of outdoor adventures.
A black belt in Shito Ryu Karate, Anthony was a disciplined martial artist who used his skills and passion to give back to the community. He opened eight karate schools under the name American States Karate in the Portland metro area, where he inspired and mentored many students.
Beyond his career and hobbies, Anthony cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews, always eager to play games, share laughs, and create lasting memories. His fondness for travel also fueled his love for exploring new places, which he often shared with loved ones.
Anthony was a co-founder and executive producer of "Around Town," a well-loved television show that ran for several years, showcasing the vibrant activities and restaurants in the Portland area. His contribution to the show brought attention to the local community, and it remains a cherished part of his legacy.
Anthony will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to positively impacting the lives of those closest to him. He was a loyal friend, dedicated family member, and an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His warmth, generosity, and zest for life will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his sister, Holly (Michael) DeMoss; nieces, Lisa M. Banford and Rachel DeHaven; nephews, Robert A. Colbert and Jonathan Colbert; great-nieces: Mariah Colbert, Amanda Banford, Nataliah Colbert, and Alyssa Banford; great-nephews: Christopher Banford, Blake Banford, and Nathan Colbert.
A funeral service will be held at Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home on Saturday, March 15th, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Oregon Humane Society and OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital, two causes that were close to Anthony’s heart.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and the positive mark he made on this world.
