

Anton "Tony" Rudich was born on July 8th, 1930 in Clifton, Oregon to John and Natalie Rudich. He attended Jefferson High School and graduated in June of 1948. After high school Anton decided to serve our nation by joining the army from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War; his rank was a Corporal in the Signal Corp. He ended up meeting Frances on a blind date arranged by a friend after which they got married in Portland in 1958.
Tony enjoyed fishing, boating, and traveling; he went on cruises to Mexico, Hawaii and the Carribean. He also won many awards from Boeing, a company which manufactures and builds airplanes. He was best known as a hard working individual who valued his family first and foremost and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Tony would get emmersed in his projects in the garage building and creating things. His son, John, remembers he was always around, extending his support, and never missing a soccer game. Anton was also an active member of the Grace Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; his son, John Rudich of Portland, Oregon; his sister, Katie Stolz, of Troutdate, Oregon; his brother in law, Eldon Crow, of Sherwood, Oregon; his other brother in law, Jim Crow, of St. Johns, Oregon; his sister in law, Margie Chaduck of Vancouver, Washington; and another sister in law, Loreen Crow in Aloha, Oregon; not including his extended family as well.
A Service of Remembrance will be held in Tony's honor on Thursday, December 28th, 2012 at 9:00am at Willamette National Cemetery with military honors included.
