Augusta (Peggy) Coffman was born June 10, 1926, to Art and Lillian Friday in Backus, Minnesota. She died on June 10, 2015 in Gresham, Oregon at the age of 89. Peggy loved cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. For the last nine years she lived in Battle Ground Washington where she made some very dear friends and shared her love of flowers with all of her neighbors.
Peggy is preceded in death by her first husband Augie Calcagno and second husband of 25 years, Kenneth Coffman; her parents Art Friday and
Lillian (Winn) Friday; her brother Gordon Friday and her sister Norma (Friday) Marlow.
Peggy is survived by daughters Nancy (Roger) Grote, Cheryl (Cap) D’Amato, Debbie Calcagno-Sarate; her son Jeff (Pam) Calcagno; her sisters Vivian Moncrief and Joyce Rubitschung; her brother Max Friday; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes, 1515 NE 106th Ave. Portland, OR 97220.
