Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011, and a funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, in Ross Hollywood Chapel (Aloha attire welcome).
Barbara was born in Kapa'a, Kaua'i, Hawai'i and was a graduate of Kaua'i High School. In 1952, she married Coker Fifield Rathbone III whom she met in Okinawa. They moved to Portland in 1971.
Survivors include her children, Lucile M. and Timothy D. Munson, Heller J.
Rathbone, Nina L. Rathbone and Thelma S. Rathbone; brothers and their wives, Richard and Lillian, Webster and Juliette and Thomas and Marietta; and many, many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Her husband, Field, preceded her in death.
Interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to Breast Cancer Research and OPB
