Barbara Jane Watt

Barbara Watt, loving wife, amazing mother, grandma and friend to many left us on Wednesday, November 23rd after battling Alzheimer’s disease for several years.She is survived by her children David and Suzi, and their respective families as well as her ever loving dog Zoe.

She was born in Seattle in 1942 but soon moved to the city of Lake Oswego, Oregon where she grew up and ultimately graduated from Lake Oswego High School. She attended Oregon State University, and was a member of the Delta Gamma house.While attending OSU she met the love of her life, Reynold Watt, and they eventually wed.

After living in several locations in the Portland area, they landed in the community of West Linn where she helped to raise her family and worked as a staff member for the West Linn School District.Barbara was most known for her hospitality, her kind and giving soul and for the thousands of miles she logged either walking, swimming, or doing exercises.She always loved to stop and talk to others, work in her garden, celebrate the holidays, and make cookies for many.

Her big heart and big hugs will be missed by all.
