

Barry was raised in Port Angeles, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Tacoma, Washington. He met Heather Irvine at church, and on June 2, 1979 they were united in marriage in Portland. Barry earned an associate degree and worked as a sheet metal journeyman and as a computer repairman, including for a time at PDX assisting with the UPS airplane fleet.
Mr. Frymire enjoyed the outdoors – camping and fishing, landscaping his yard, and taking trips to the beach and Canada with his family.
He will be remembered as a dependable and hardworking man with a good sense of humor, and as a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Heather Frymire; son Brandon Frymire and daughter Erica Frymire; and brother Clinton Frymire.
Barry's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 12 pm Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd. in Portland. A reception will follow. Guests are advised to enter at Gate 9.
