Berget was a wonderful neighbor of mine for many years here in Portland. She was so friendly with a wonderful smile and kind words when we chatted. I admired her strength and independence as she lived on her own. I will certainly miss this great lady. Rest in peace, sweet Berget.

When I remember your Mother, grace and style come to mind. I have many warm memories of your Mother while growing up in Tioga and also visiting with her on her trips back to North Dakota. I feel so blessed to have been able to visit with her on Mom's 91st. birthday party. Take comfort in knowing many are keeping you in our thought and prayers. Hold on to all those memories.

Berget was my Grandma. She was sweet, funny, strong, and a fighter until the end. I will miss her but I know she will live on in our hearts and in our memories. I find comfort in knowing that she is smiling up in Heaven with Grandpa once again by her side.
