Bea, Grandma to me, was the best mother in law a guy could have and I feel so blessed to have had her. She did not have a mean bone in her body and was always good to me and my family as well as everyone else in the family.
To my mind her three loves were family first followed by food and sun. I can remember grandma in Arizona heading for the side of the house at the first sign of sun. In Hawaii I think we tried fifteen remedies to ease her sunburn.
Always when leaving her it was LOVE YOU LOVE YOU bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
On that last evening of her life, Donna
told her she loved her and said her goodbyes and Grandma said to me in a forceful voice "I want a Kiss." That's one I'll remember forever.
Love always, Your son in law.

Dear Great-Grandma

I am going to miss you so much and you were a big inspiration to me. I am sad that you are gone, but I know that you are in a better place with the Lord right now. I remember every Wednesday I would come do your house with McDonald's french fries for you and we would play with the slot machines and put the baby dolls to bed. Those memories are very precious to me, and I will have them forever. I love you very much and I can't wait for the day when I will finally see you again in Heaven.
