Betty Jane Davis was born on June 6, 1922 in Portland, Oregon to Walter and May Whiting, and passed away on February 6, 2012. She had a great and adventurous life. Among her many accomplishments, she was a homemaker, swimming instructor, lifeguard and was a yeoman in the US Coast Guard during World War II. She was a loving wife to her husband Ralph and mother of two boys, Scott and Bryon, both of which turned out to be great men. She will be missed.
