

Mrs. Jeu is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Oilung Wong. She is survived by her husband Tai Gum Jeu, her daughter Simi Yip and son-in-law Larry Yip, her son Jimmy Jeu, and her son-in-law So Hin Wong, as well as her grandchildren: Victor Yip and granddaughter-in-law Lora Yip, Joey Wong and Jonathan Wong.
Bik Lan Jeu’s father died when she was an infant and she was raised by her mother Wong Nui Chee in Hoi Ping in Guandong Province, China. Mrs. Jeu enjoyed taking care of her family and was known for her bright, warm smile and sunny disposition. When Mrs. Jeu was a young woman, her parents arranged a marriage for her to her future husband, Tai Gum Jeu. Mr. and Mrs. Jeu were married in 1947 and enjoyed a long and happy marriage of 67 years. Mrs. Jeu gave birth to her two daughters, Simi and Oilung, in China. She then moved with her daughters to the United States to join her husband Tai Gum Jeu, who had found work abroad. Their son, Jimmy, was born in the United States shortly thereafter.
Mrs. Jeu will be remembered for her love of gardening and her excellent cooking skills. Her five-spice duck, quail dish and spaghetti were particular favorites among her family. Nurturing and loyal, Bik Lan Jeu was committed to making her family happy.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th, 2014 at 12:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, OR 97086. She will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Park at 1:00pm.
