Bonnie was born on June 20, 1932, in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Frances and David Brooks. She grew up in SE Portland where she attended Glencoe Elementary and Franklin High School. She worked as a secretary for the Portland Police Bureau for over 30 years in Traffic and Personnel and supported several officers including the Deputy Chief and where she met Loren, her beloved husband and some of her dearest lifelong friends.
Surviving Bonnie are her three children, Melanie (husband, Matthew), David (wife, Connie) and Laurel (husband, Daniel); six grandchildren: Angela, James, Katie, Paul, Tara and Elizabeth and eight great grandchildren.
Bonnie enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and family and loved animals and nature.
