Bonnye Reece Giles

Bonnye attended Highland Christian Center, a foundation that helped shape a life marked by steady devotion and a deep regard for family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Melvina Giles, and his brother, Lando Giles. He is survived by his wife Carrie and his sister, Luna Haywood, and his brother, Randy Giles.

A hard-working man throughout his years, Bonnye built his career as a drafter in real estate and he enjoyed property management. He brought diligence and care to the work he did. In both his professional life and his personal life, he was known for a generous spirit and for being deeply cherished by those who knew him.

Bonnye was married for 41 years to Carrie Giles. Together they raised their daughter Shayla Giles. He also had sons Gaberiel Giles and Marques Giles. His devoted presence as a husband and father will be remembered with enduring gratitude and respect.

In quieter moments, Bonnye found satisfaction in gardening, tending to what he planted with the same patience and constancy that defined so much of his life. He also loved fishing and spent time teaching Shayla. He is dearly missed by his family.
