

Brenda Walden Stewart was born in Portland, Oregon, to her devoted parents, James and Mae Helen Walden. Growing up alongside her beloved siblings - Shirley, Helen, Lonnie, and Linda - she was nurtured in a home filled with love, laughter, and a deep sense of togetherness. The Walden family's strong values and unbreakable bond shaped Brenda's life, surrounding her with warmth and support that remained steadfast throughout the years.
Brenda began her educational journey at Boise-Eliot Elementary School, where she laid the foundation for her lifelong love of learning. She later walked the hallways of the historic Jefferson High School, a place that helped shape her into the remarkable person she became.
Brenda married Terry Stewart, and together they welcomed three children: Trina, Terry, and Tracy. Later, she married Charles Alexander, with whom she had a daughter Shanaye.
Brenda lived her life according to her own principles, cultivating a deep passion for reading, solving puzzles, and cherishing moments with her grandchildren. She had a unique ability to leave others with a smile, and her vibrant presence was always unmistakably felt. Brenda has made a significant impact on all those she encountered, and her memory will be cherished.
Brenda Walden Stewart is preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Mae Helen Walden, her dear daughter, Trina Stewart, her cherished sister, Helen, and her devoted brother, Lonnie.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of those who survived her. Brenda is lovingly remembered by her children: her son, Terry Stewart, and her daughters, Tracy Stewart and Shanaye Alexander. Her memory will also be forever treasured by her grandchildren: Dominique Stewart, Rogzae Stewart, Dameon Marcell, Audrey Stewart, David Stewart, Maya Stewart, Darnell Jones, Saniah Campbell, and Imone Stewart, along with her eight great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and her dear friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness and love.
