Born in Eugene, Oregon on December 28, 1950, she was the daughter of Forrest Miller and Dorothy (Irvin) Miller.
Brenda was preceded in death by her Husband David, her Father Forrest and Mother Dorothy, step father James, Bonus parents Kathleen and Dewey Minger, and her siblings Bill, Donald, Sandra, Linda, and Glenda.
Brenda grew up in Gresham Oregon alongside her seven siblings. She attended Gresham High School. After graduation she spent a short time waitressing at the Satellite restaurant, and working for the I.O.F before later starting her career in the floral industry.
Brenda met her husband in 1982, they married two years later and opened their business, Balloons and Such. Later the business name was changed to Gateway Florist, where Brenda worked alongside her husband until retirement. After retirement they moved to the coast and lived out their days in Netarts, Oregon.
Brenda was one of the best. She was kind, loving, generous, and funny. She will be remembered for her compassion, resilience, quirkiness, her contagious laughter and her smile. Overall, her love and devotion to her husband, family, friends and of course, Dr. Pepper and Twinkies.
Brenda is survived by her Children Noel (Sherice), Lori (Justin), Bonnie(Sam), Cathy, Siblings Rich(Barb), Frank, In Laws Bud, Vinton, Ollie, Grandchildren Jeremy, Jacob, Taylor (Giuliano), Lexia (Jaison), Arianna, Sydney, Brendon (Crisalyn), Samuel, Kaylee, Hannah, Ava, Teagan, Kyler, Sabin, Great-Grandchildren Ezmeray, Ariah, Kameron, Hayden, Raelynn and puppy Daisy; Many cousins, nieces, and nephews; and countless lifetime friends all of whom she adored.
The one thing in life that she could not stand was being apart from her husband. Brenda lost her husband Dave one month and five days before she passed away. They could not be apart for long and this has yet again proven that. Life is not forever, but their love is.
There are no words to describe how deeply missed Brenda will be. She was truly one of a kind. If you knew her, you were one of the lucky ones.
Burial will take place alongside her husband at 2 o'clock PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Willamette National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please plant some at your home and think of Brenda when they bloom.
