Calvin Claude Fletcher was born on July 27, 1925 in Mound City Kansas to Ernest and Blanche Fletcher. During WWII, Calvin served his country in the US Navy, spending time on the USS Grayson. For 63 years, Calvin was married to Virginia Lee Dickson. He spent almost 33 years working for Simpson Timber, where he eventually retired. In his spare time, Calvin loved watching game shows, with one of his favorites being Jeopardy. He also enjoyed coin collecting and traveling and loved working in his yard. He loved his family and his church, Temple Baptist Church, where he was a member for many years. He passed away surrounded by love in his daughter's home. Calvin is survived by his wife, Virginia Fletcher; daughter Mylinda (Ted) Humble; sons Dan and Ron Fletcher; grandsons Nick and Daniel Fletcher; step-granddaughters Samantha Reid and Angela Davee; and brother Elton Fletcher.
