Carl Edward Anderson

Carl Edward Anderson passed away on April 11, 2014. Carl was born on August 2, 1922 to Nels Gustaf and Lucy Anderson in Beaverton, Oregon. Carl attended and graduated from Beaverton High School in 1940. Carl enlisted into the United States Air Force on July 24, 1942 and served during WWII. He received an honorable Discharge on his birthday in 1944.

Carl could fix just about anything and went to work for the Washington County in the auto shop. That is where he met his wife, Olga Nagy who also a County employee. Olga would stop in the Washington County shop with her county vehicle and Carl was the mechanic. They were married in November of 1962. Carl was a kind and loving man. He was a very generous and accepting person.

Carl was predeceased by his parents and wife. He is survived by daughters Beth Nagy and Jean Nagy of Beaverton, Oregon, sister in law, Marge Riggs Anderson, sisters, Marci Anderson of Buxton, Oregon, Karen Victor of Banks, Oregon, Diania Bernard of Portland, Oregon, Amy Shaffer of Hillsboro, Oregon, Lucy Dick of North Plain, Oregon, Elinor Highett of Tigard, Oregon, brother, Robert Anderson of Syracuse, New York, numerous relatives in Sweden and numerous grand nephews and nieces.
