Carl Edward Bolyard was born in Upper Sandusky, in 1928, to a family of four boys. Shortly after he married his wife Joan, in 1951, the two moved to Portland, Oregon where he attended Bible College. During his career, Carl built custom homes. He was a member of Central Bible Church for more than 60 years. He lived a life of service, giving much of his time to Trout Creek Bible Camp.
Carl was preceded in death by Joan, his wife of 62 years. He is survived by four children, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held in Carl’s honor later this year. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Trout Creek Bible Camp.
