

Carlain David “David” Hall, 85, of Goshen, Alabama, died Friday, March 18, 2022, in Jackson Hospital, in Montgomery, Alabama. He was born on March 17, 1937, to Erline G. Wadleigh and his father Archie Carl Hall in Columbus, Georgia.
David is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Katherine J. Hall, whom he spent many happy years with in Oregon. David is survived by his brother Gerald (Barbara) Hall and pre-deceased by his brother Teddy Carlos Hall. He is survived by his children Vicki H. Thomas and Renee H. Taylor. He is predeceased by his son-in-law, Kenneth Thomas. He is also survived by his step-children: Diane DuPont, Felix (Lauren) Carballo Jr., Heather (Bryan) Toller and Nathan Dunkin. He is survived by twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by one grand-daughter. He is also survived by Katherine’s step-children: Steven (Leah) Dunkin, David (Kathy) Dunkin, and Darlene (Ronnie) Emile along with their children and grand-children.
David loved to fish, travel, golf, and was well known for his trips around the United States in his RV. David was known for his eloquent manner of speech, his great capacity for grace, and his loving acceptance of everyone. He was a follower of Christ, a believer in the power of the holy spirit, and a man who followed God’s purpose for his life. His unrelenting care for his wife Katherine, as she battled ALS in her final years, will always be deeply revered.
A burial service for family will be hosted by Zeller Chapel of the Roses at Willamette National Cemetery, in Portland OR, on April 1, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be given on April 10, 2022 in Luverne, Alabama.
