Carlyle (Slats) Hagstrom, born in Linnton December 27th, 1915 passed peacefully on Friday July 8th. Slats worked for The Cooperage in Portland before joining the U.S. Navy at the onset of WWII, where here served in the Pacific theater in the SeaBees. After the war he returned to work at The Cooperage before joining Goodyear Rubber & Supply Co/ Fabricon were he was Plant manager until his retirement in 1981. Slats was preceded in death by his beloved wife Edith Marie in 1977. He is survived by his niece,Debbie Lister and her children Joey and Katie, as well as several nieces and nephews on is wife's side. Arrangesments by Skyline Memorial Gardens. A graveside memorial service will be Friday July 22nd, at 11 a.m.
