Carol Jean Bryant, 73, of Richland Washington died on Saturday, May 31, 2014 after a brief illness. Born on July 6, 1940 in Potlatch, Idaho, she was the daughter of Della and Wesley Tempero (both deceased). Mom spent a lot of time as a child on the family farm in Potlatch. Mom married our dad,Charles Edward Bryant in June of 1958 who preceded her in death on March 17, 1997. They had four children.
Mom was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Over the years her four children spread their wings and landed in several different geographical areas across the country. Regardless of the miles between them, Mom was always just a phone call away for any of her children or grandchildren. While it was well known among her children that she was not the best cook, she certainly enjoyed eating meals made by her children as well as visiting dining establishments with friends and family. Mom was a gifted artist who oil painted and did interior home decorating. One of her works is a mural on the wall of a local restaurant in Hayden near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho She did many paintings all with great detail on canvas as well as other items such as old saw blades. She could take a group of flowers and other items and create beautiful centerpieces, wreaths, etc. She resided in a senior complex in Richland where she did most of the decorating for holiday functions. Everyone loved what she did and praised her highly. She enjoyed shopping, visiting artsy shops, music, nature, and beautiful scenery. She placed great value on spending individual quality time with each of her children and grandchildren whenever she could. “Me and you time” she would say.
Surviving are her children: Kathy Walker (spouse Brian) who resides in Veedersburg, Indiana, Sue Kuespert (spouse Rick) who resides in Kennewick,Washington, Debbie Leriche (spouse Paul) who resides in Redmond, Oregon, and Tim Bryant (spouse Spring) who resides in Ogden, Utah. Nine grandchildren (Jessica Marsters, Keith Leriche, Kyle Kuespert, Austin Walker, Ryan Walker, Andrew Bryant, Ashley Bryant, Maleah Bryant, and Moriah Bryant, and three great-grandchildren (Aidan Marsters, Holden Marsters, and Landon Marsters).
