

Born in Enid, Oklahoma on July 16, 1944 to Louis and Laura Blake, Carol’s family moved to Clackamas, Oregon, where Carol spent the remainder of her childhood. As a child, Carol and her siblings enjoyed swimming and singing together. She attended Clackamas High School and later attended Eastern Oregon University for a year.
In 1971, Carol married Roy V. Winner, whom she met through a mutual friend. Of the life they shared together, Roy shares “For the last 52 years, all my adult life, I lived with the most wonderful woman in the world. We worked together for 20 years and it was wonderful to be with her every day. I will miss her all the rest of my life. I will miss her wonderful big brown eyes and great smile, and her loving ways.”
During the start of her working life, Carol worked with special needs children for some time. She went on to become a professional cake decorator, eventually opening a cake decorating shop with her parents: The Decorette Shop.
Carol was a strong Christian woman, who loved the Lord. She grew up attending Lents Baptist Church and later in life became a parishioner at Living Hope Church.
She was a giving woman, unselfish, caring, and intelligent. She was feisty and she had a great sense of humor. Carol loved her family immensely and would enjoy planning gatherings for everyone. She liked fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, and sightseeing. Since childhood, music was a big part of Carol’s life. She loved to sing and enjoyed musicals.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Roy Winner; daughters: Kim Munsey, Danette Ramirez, and Zuleima Ardilla; grandchildren: Raechelle Blackman, Kody Munsey, Joshua Winner, Andres Picon Jr., and Felipe Picon; great-grandchildren: Tysen LaRue, Michael Blackman, Ashton Blackman, and Leeroy Winner; and siblings: Phil Blake, Marge Lockwood, Ron Blake, and Bruce Blake.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 23rd at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home. A committal service and reception will follow.
