Cecil Sisk passed way with her son at her side. She was a Grand Dame of her generation. Her caregivers lovingly called her "The Queen" and she loved it. Cecil was a descendant of three members of the Mayflower and a Daughter of the American Revolution. She is also descended from the Hines family who came out to Oregon by covered wagon to be with Jason Lee. Cecil took pride in her family heritage. Tracing the family's genealogy was one her favorite passions. She was also the first woman west of the Mississippi to earn the coveted Amateur Extra license for amateur radio.
