He was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. He served in the Air Force from 1964-1968. He worked as a Journeyman Lineman for over 40 years. He was an avid hunter with his wife and family.
He is survived by his wife Lilly Kahl of Portland, OR., and his children Cindy Kahl of Fort Walton Beach, FL., Charley Kahl of Cicero, NY., Shubert Hunter of Ariel, WA., Kris McGinnis of Washougal, WA., Mary Kell of Honolulu, HI., and 6 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20th 2022 from 4:00pm to 5:00 pm at the Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral & home (11801 S.E. Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR. 97068
