Life is the sum total of all of the people you have met, the things you have done and the places you have gone. Charlie was no exception. He was a very loved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend. To those who knew him best, Charlie will be remembered as a very exceptional and unique person.
Charlie’s life journey began on July 27th, 1990. He first greeted the world in Portland, Oregon. His parents, Douglas and Theresa Lovett, raised him in Portland, Oregon's Laurelhurst and Eastmoreland neighborhoods. Growing up for Charlie included lots of family and fun. An important part of his life was studying in the Japanese Immersion Program at Richmond Elementary School, Mt. Tabor Middle School and Grant High School, and traveling to Japan.
Charlie has two siblings, Kathryn and Peter, who he loved very much and they loved him. Charlie was close to other relatives as well; Charlie's extended family included many cousins who he was very close to. Charlie grew up surrounded by family and friends who cared about him very much.
Charlie Lovett left us on April 15, 2011. He was 20 years old.
Charlie will be remembered by his family and friends as a clever, humorous and loving person who was taken from them far too soon.
