

Charlotte graduated from Farragut High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Nebraska Welseyan College.
Charlotte moved to Southern California and in 1939 married Daniel Plummer. The couple had two children, Charles and Joyce. In 1960, Charlotte married Charles Toppero.
Charlotte enjoyed her work as a shipping clerk for Helm's Bakery in Southern California. She ultimately retired from Helm's. In addition to loving her work, she also enjoyed painting and reading.
Following their retirement, Charles and Charlotte found pleasure traveling, often retreating to the Sierra Mountains during the summers. They enjoyed camping and trips to the Yosemite Valley. Charlotte loved Oregon and often mentioned that her "years [in Oregon] were the best years of her life."
Charlotte passed away on March 25, 2010 in Milwaukie, Or. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Charlotte is survived by her son, Charles Plummer and his wife, Sherrin; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and daughter, Joyce Irene. Charlotte will be remembered for her strong will and her "uncompromising" manner.
The family suggests contributions to Oregon Public Broadcasting in lieu of flowers.
