I was a coworker of Cheryl’s at the US Forest Service. I loved her friendliness, quick sense of humor, and of course, her delicious cakes!

I attended Beech Elementary with Cheryl.  She was the sweetest girl I knew.  She had such a cute giggle, and she was free with them.  I would bet that she had the biggest group of friends in that whole school. I'll see you when it's my turn,  sweet friend. 

I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of my dear friend Cheryl.  While Cheryl was a work colleague of mine, she was first and foremost my friend.  She was the first person I would see at the office every morning (we were the early birds!) I would walk in, see the light coming from her cubicle and yell, "Good Morning!" and she would respond, "Good Morning Becky!" And then we would proceed to chat for a good half hour!  Best way to start the day! Always a big smile on her face and her laugh (she laughed at me a lot!) was contagious!  
Virtual hugs to family and friends...And most of all to you Cheryl.

I think Cheryl was one of the nicest people I have ever know and always had a wonderful laugh  .  I have known Cheryl as long as I can remember through my family and hers being friends and later through my brother Steven . This wonderful lady will always be missed in my heart  . She was definitely a bright star in this gloomy world  .

Each of us are better people for having known and worked alongside Cheryl. I will never forget her incredible laugh and beautiful smile, even in the midst of tough times and projects. Some of my favorite office memories are of stopping by to say hello to her, and inevitably sharing countless laughs and our hopes and dreams for our lives and the world along the way. She was such a genuinely kind, positive force, who cared for so many, and who inspired me in countless ways.  My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her.

Cheryl and I were coworkers at the Station for over 25 years. What I remember most about Cheryl is her joyful positive spirit, beautiful smile, and wonderful laughter. She was truly one of my favorite people. My sincere condolences to her family and friends for their loss. She was well loved by many. Rest in peace.

I worked with Cheryl for about 10 years. She was the sweetest, most unassuming, kind, and competent person. It was a blessing to know her. Blessings to the family on their loss.

I was lucky enough to know and work with Cheryl for many fun years.  She always had a smile and a happy outlook. And she always managed to find at least a small amount of humor in every situation.  Cheryl was truly a joy to be around.  She will be missed.



Cheryl was one of the most loving, kind, considerate, gentle, and sharing  people I know. She always gave of herself, taking care of her dear mother till her passing and organizing family events for a very large family, which she deeply loved. Cheryl's wealth of knowledge and experience in the workplace was very much appreciated by all of her workmates.  She always seemed to know the answers to questions no one else could answer. Cheryl was very proficient and always accommodating, assisting many  with work-related tasks. But perhaps one of the things Cheryl will be most missed for is her patience,  taking the time to  listen to people and finding the humor in and sharing much laughter about the ironies of everyday life. Cheryl was loved and will be deeply missed by all.

Cheryl was a joy to know. We worked together for over 30 years. She brought me countless smiles.  Her contributions at work included preparing the layout for publications of 100s of scientific and technical reports. Each year for two decades she prepared dozens of briefing papers that went to the Congressional delegations in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington.  

Scientific work is exacting.  Sometimes people would want very small changes made quicky.  Cheryl would show patience beyond measure and do so with a sense of humor.   Her work was superb. 

She was beloved by those of us lucky enough to work with her.  She helped lighten the world with her smile and laughter.

Aunt Cheri was a great woman, sister and daughter. While she may no longer be earthside, I know heaven is that much better with her there. She is free from all the stress and pain of this life. My heart hurts for my dad, her brother; he's lost his little sister. He truly loved, and cared for, Cheri, I'm know she knew that. Aunt Cheri, thank you for being you.
