

Christopher D. Angell, born on June 29, 1994, in Portland, passed away on March 31, 2026, in Los Angeles, California. Known for his quick wit and intelligence, Christopher was a self-motivated individual who excelled in every assignment he undertook, often leaving others to catch up to his sharp humor.
Christopher attended Woodlawn Elementary and Bridger Middle School, followed by Franklin High School, where he distinguished himself academically. His commitment to excellence continued into his service in the Marines, where he served as a sharpshooter and in demolition, roles that demanded precision and bravery.
Beyond his military and academic achievements, Christopher was deeply involved in his community as a member of the Celebration Tabernacle. He was passionate about staying active and engaged in sports, including basketball, baseball, football, and skateboarding. He also cherished playing video games online with friends and family, which was one of his favorite ways to relax and connect with loved ones.
Christopher is survived by his grandmother, Mary Porter; aunts and uncles, John Porter, Lonnie Porter, William Porter, and Anna Mae Poter; siblings, Alexis Wolchesky and Jordan Angell; and his parents, Anita Poter and Kelliev Angell.
A service to honor Christopher's life will be held Saturday, July 18th, 2026, 11am at Celebration Tabernacle, located at 8131 N. Denver Avenue, Portland, OR, 97217. Following the service, a celebration of life will take place at Bridge Town Lofts, 1850 NW Front Ave, also in Portland..
