Christopher Lloyd Black

Christopher Black, affectionately known to family and friends as Chris, was born on November 16, 1978, first born child to Beverly and Carlton. From birth, Chris has always been efficient going after goals he wanted in life. He loved to cook and loved music as he was an aspiring DJ in his younger years. He moved from New York in search of love and finally settled in Portland Oregon. In Oregon, his most precious treasures were born; Cayden age 9 and Cherish age 7. These children were his world and he would do anything to make sure they were well taken care of. He always had a positive outlook on life. Especially if the odds were against him, he always had a smile. He was such a welcoming spirit with anyone he came in contact with. Chris was called home on June 27, 2022 and in his wake he leaves behind his mother Beverly, father Carlton, children Cayden and Cherish, sisters Chameka and Cheryl, brother Robert, aunts Judy and Claudette, cousins, and a host of friends that have become family over the years that will miss him dearly and always remember him. Our Angel is watching over us.
