Chris was born November 26th, 1984 in Portland, OR and was raised by his loving parents Noel and Anne Johnson. Soon after he graduated from Roosevelt High School, Chris began pursuing his career in public safety and security. His passion to protect others began as a kid volunteering at a campground where his family had a place. Chris achieved the position of Security Supervisor with hopes of becoming manager. Chris was happily married to his loving wife, Ashton, and they share two beautiful boys together. They recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this past June.
Besides his passion for safety and security Chris enjoyed local weather adventures. He loved sharing his passion of exploring with his wife and kids by taking them to see forest fires and storms to get that perfect picture. Chris would also have his police scanner on during the trips to be able to hear everything that was going on; everything that wasn’t encrypted.
He was the type of person that everyone wanted to know and be around. Chris had the ability to walk into a room as a stranger and walk out as everyone’s best friend. The world truly lost a wonderful man, but Heaven gained an incredible person. He was taken too soon, but there is comfort knowing that he has a bird’s eye view to everything he set out to see.
Chris is survived by his wife, Ashton, sons, Patrick and Sean, his parents, Noel and Anne Johnson, his brother and sister in-law Greg and Sherri, and sister and brother in-law, Carrie and Tony.
While flowers are welcomed, the family request all flowers be donated to those who are fighting their own medical battles at any local hospital ICU.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.finleysunsethills.com for the Johnson family.
