Constance Joan Leonard Pressentin-Nutini

Our beloved and beautiful mother, wife, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend passed into Glory to be with the Lord on June 19, 2014 in Portland, OR. Constance Joan Leonard (Connie), was born at home (the last of nine children) to Gustav Leonard and Alice Bush Leonard. Connie was valedictorian at Concrete High School where she met her husband, Bruce E. Pressentin. They were married August 25, 1949. Connie and Bruce were blessed with five children, Mark, Christin, Susan, Elisabeth and John over a 16 year span. During this same time and beyond she worked as a real estate broker, bookkeeper, office manager, and finally retiring from U.S. Bank, Portland in 2004. All these jobs were secondary to her first priority as a wonderful Mom to her five children; Grandma to seven; and Great Grandma to two. She lived for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and relished every moment she was able to spend with them. After Bruce's death, Connie married Raymond C. Nutini on January 7, 1995 and he was her loving companion and husband until her death. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family and extended family in Washington, especially with her siblings. Connie enjoyed trips to the Oregon Coast and central Oregon. She always loved rooting for her favorite sports teams. She also loved to read and she always maintained a great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce Pressentin, her Granddaughter Erin Nicole Pressentin, and her step daughter, Laura Leveni. She is survived by her husband, Ray, her sister, Helen Reynolds as well as children: Mark von Pressentin; Christin (Randy) Lewis; Susan (Todd) Rowell; Elisabeth (Grant) Hass; John Pressentin (fiancée, Mary Lindquist); and her step son, Raymond (Patricia) Nutini, Jr., grandchildren: Andrew Lewis; Ben (Malia) Hass; Amanda Lewis; Rachel Hass; Chelsea Rowell; Kristina and Grey Pressentin; and step grandson, Johnathon Nutini, and last but certainly not least, great grandchildren: Addison Smith; and Carter Hass. A Rosary will begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014, with a 1 p.m. Funeral Mass following at St. Therese Catholic Church, 1260 N.E. 132nd Ave., Portland, OR 97230 (132nd & NE Halsey St.). Connie will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery in a private ceremony. Please sign the online guest book on this website to leave the family a message.
